AP CM misguided Sonia on Telangana issue: TRS

Hyderabad, Dec 14 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader K Vijayarama Rao today claimed that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had ''misled'' the Congress President and United Progressive Alliance(UPA) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on the Telangana issue.

Though Ms Gandhi had been symphatic to the demand of the TRS, a former coalition partner of the Congress-led UPA Government, Dr Reddy had made her believe that there was no no Telangana sentiment and people of the region were happy with the so called developmental efforts taken up by the State Government, he alleged, while taking part in the debate on the surrender of assigned land by Dr Reddy and his family.

The recent Karimnagar bypoll had proved wrong the Chief Minister's claim, he said while accusing Dr Reddy of 'misleading' the House on the land issue.
