AITUC claims strike total

Guwahati, Dec 14 (UNI) The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Asom State Committee, today claimed the bandh in Brahmaputra and Barak Valley of Asom was total as part of nation-wide strike today.

AITUC president Upen Talukdar said the strike was success.

Trains services were affected, attendence in the government offices and undertakings was poor and trucks and buses were off the roads.
