6 killed, 5 injured as bus hits three-wheeler

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 14 (UNI) Six people were killed and five injured when bus hit a three wheeler between Kulchepalli and Unna Guravayapalem villages of the Prakasham district today.

According to police, a Hyderabad-bound Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus which started from Podili bus stand hit a three-wheeler going to Podili from Gollapalli village.

Five people died on the spot while another died at the Podili Government Hospital.

The deceased included the three-wheeler driver Puliborla Sathenna (25) and passengers Katam Venkata Subba Reddy(60), Myla Venkateswarlu (65), Nuggu Venkata Lakshamamma (55) and Punnamma (20) who were killed on the spot.

The other person who died in the hospital was yet to be identified, police added.

All the victims belonged to Gollapalli Village.
