Two NLFT rebels surrender

Agartala, Dec 13: Two National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT-BM) rebels on Monday surrendered to the security forces at Nishanchandra Para under Khowai sub-division in Tripura's West District.

According to delayed police reports here today, the 'self styled corporals' deserted their camp in neighbouring Bangladesh's Sylhet, just opposit to the Khowai sub-divisional headquarters, and crossed over to Indian soil. Both the rebels, however, did not depoist any arms or ammunition during surrender before Teliamura PS SDPO Sanjoy Roy.
