Star TV lodges FIR against cable operator

Gurgaon, Dec 13 (UNI) Star TV has lodged an FIR against Lord Krishna Creations of Gurgaon for allegedly distributing the broadcaster's signals beyond specified area.

Gurgaon Police said that it was investigating the case.

According to Star TV, under a subscription agreement it had authorised the Gurgaon cable operator to distribute signals of its channels in the Sun City, Gurgaon.

However, the broadcaster alleged, the cable operator started providing its signals to other areas too, which compelled them to report the case to the police.
