School peon commits suicide

Dharwad, Karnataka, Dec 13 (UNI) A peon of a school allegedly committed suicide within the school compound at HosaTegur village in the district, last night.

Police said today that Basu Sahukar allegedly took the extreme step after being upset over the school management raising loan on his property and failing to repay the same.

Villagers gheraoed the school management today and sought the arrest of the school Chairman.
