Prime Minister arrives in Tokyo
Tokyo, Dec 13 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here today on a four-day visit, declaring that relations between India and Japan were poised to enter a new and dynamic phase, driven by a shared desire to enhance bilateral ties.
Dr Singh, who is accompanied by a high-level delegation which includes National Security Adviser M K Narayanan, Mr T K A Nair, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Commerce Secretary G K Pillai, was received at the Haneda Airport by Indian Ambassador to Japan H K Singh and senior Indian and Japanese officials.
Commerce Minister Kamal Nath and Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon will join the delegation here.
