Oracle, Wipro, Media e2e in joint venture

New Delhi, Dec 13: Oracle India Private Ltd alliance with Wipro Infotech and consultancy Media e2e today formed a media technology consortium, to address the growing technology requirements of the media and entertainment sector.

The objective of the consortium will be to design information systems using software and technology solutions and to meet IT requirements of the media and entertainments industry in the country.

''In the period of rapid growth, we realise that business models for media and entertainment companies are undergoing enormous change that will have direct bearing on their transactionl, anlyticl and informations systems,'' said Media e2e Vice President (Finance and Strategic alliance ) Sunny Gupta.

The consortium is in the process of meeting top broadcast and media and entertainment companies. The alliance is expanding its focus on other key Asia Pacific markets in the coming months.
