Only 25 pc of budget allocation spent: Dharam Singh
Bangalore, Dec 13: Opposition leader in the Karnataka LegislativeAssembly N Dharam Singh today alleged that the State administration hastotally failed and the government has spent only 25 per cent of thebudget allocation.
Talking to newspersons here, he said that the Coalition governmentheaded by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy was making only promises andnot taking up any developmental activities.
''The Governor returning back the Bills on Office of Profit, Townand Country Planning Act Amendment and two other Ordinances for furtherclarifications, has exposed the government's carelessness indrafting'', he added.
Mr Singh said that the government had spent only Rs 12 crore ofthe total Rs 44.55 crore released for implementation of NationalHorticulture Mission. The government was not responding to the problemsof the farmers in the State, he added.
He alleged that the Coalition government, which abolishedPermanent Backward Classes Commission, immediately after coming topower it was yet to constitute the new Commission though it is already10 months past.
