Meghalaya Minister slaps PSO

Shillong, Dec 13 (UNI) In a fit of rage, Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare Minister Elstone D Marak today slapped his own personal security Officer (PSO) in full public glare in front of the Assembly.

The PSO, identified as Francis Marak, was slapped because he did not bring the files after alighting from the car. However, the Minister denied the charges.

Later, Francis lodged an FIR before the Laban Police Station and an immediate inquiry was carried by the Police into the incident.

Mr Marak, who was caught in an embarrassing situation, however, denied of slapping his own PSO and maintained that he was furious but had not physically abused him.
