Judgement reserved on Retreat Centre raid

Kochi, Dec 13 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today reserved its judgement on a petition filed by Director of the Divine Retreat Centre at Muringur in Thrissur district.

Mr Justice R Basanth heard the petition along with suo moto proceedings taken by the Court.

The petitioner contended that the Police could not conduct a raid without filing an FIR.

The Court had directed the Police to conduct an investigation into the running of the Centre, but they raided the institution along with a medical team.

The Director filed the petition against the illegal raid.
