Isolated rain in Karnataka

Bangalore, Dec 13 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Balehonnur 1. Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over Coastal Karnataka; appreciably above normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka and above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Dharwad and Bijapur recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16.4 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Mandya, Mysore, Kodagu, Chikmagalur and Hassan districts. Mainly dry weather may prevail over the remaining districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. Fog/mist likely during early morning hours. Minimum temperature would be around 18 Celsius.
