Indian quartet win silver in sailing

Doha, Dec 13 (UNI) Indian quartet won the Silver despite losing to Singapore 1-3 in the final of the 7.5 Beneteau keel boat class at the Asian Games sailing competition here today.

The team of Mahesh Ramchandran, Sanjeev Chauhan, Girdhari Yadav and Nitin Mongia couldn't carry forward their form to the final after a sound display in the preliminary round and could win only one of the four race to finish second.

In the third place play-off, Korea defeated Thailand 2-0 to take the Bronze.
