Govt to build 27 roads along Indo-China Border
New Delhi, Dec 13: The Government has decided to construct 27 road links of 608 Km length in a phased manner in border area along Indo-China Border, said Minister of State for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today.
He said of this eight sections to be covered under the project falls in the North Eastern States.
These are Rama Sapper-Mago-Chuna, Zimithang-Survasamba-Khinzemane, Shungatsar-Kharsang La, Yarlung- Lamang and Bona to Gelling all in Arunachal Pradesh and Dombang-Gora La, Thangu-Muguthang and Giagang- Kerang fall in Sikkim.
This project is targeted to be completed by the year 2012-13, he added.
