Cicada Wildlife Resorts looking for acquisitions
Bangalore, Dec 13 (UNI) Cicada Wildlife Resorts, which offers one of the best jungle safaris at its resort on the banks of river Kabini in Mysore district, is looking to spread its wings, especially in North India.
Company CEO Tiger Ramesh said in a release here that the company was looking to build its own resorts, take over existing ones or take resorts on lease in various destinations. ''Our facility on the banks of Kabini near Nagarhole offers world class facilities. Now we want to branch out to other parts of the country. We are tagetting to enter areas like Corbett, Kanha, Ranthambore, Gir, Bandavgadh, Wayanad and Mudhumalai,'' he added.
Cicada had recently introduced 'Eco-tourer' for safari drives in its Kabini resort as per the new guidelines issued by the State Government. The TL 4x4 vehicles fitted with latest environment- friendly diesel engines made less noise and hence did not disturb wildlife, he said.
