Charges framed against former Bihar minister in Bitumen scam

Patna, Dec 13 (UNI) Special CBI court today framed charges against former Bihar Minister Illiyas Hussain in connection with multi-crore rupee bitumen scam case.

Special CBI judge R S Rai framed the charges against Md Hussain and five others, including Deputy Directors, Purchase, Road Construction Department (RCD) Mujtaba Ahmad, Kedar Paswan and Dhaneshwar Baitha, junior engineer, RCD, Sikandra Madanmohan Prasad and transporter Dudheshwar Prasad.

The charges had been framed under various sections of IPC and Prevention of Corrpution Act.
