Angad to start 1000 Agri-centres

Kolkata, Dec 13 (UNI) Angad Tractors, a Delhi-based Tractor manufacturing company, will launch 1000 Agri-centres, 'Krishi Seva Kendra' across the country.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, company Executive vice-president Gautam Das said, ''We will launch these centres to boost entrepreneurship. Graduates in Agriculture will be running these centres.'' Each centre would cater to 50 villages. These centres would offer services like farm mechanism, do maintenace work and provide advisory services.

'' We are trying to tie up with Union Government's Agri-clinic scheme, where young entrepreneur get subsidy. We have spoken to Agri Ministry about this and yound entrepreneurs would be implemeneted if agri-clinic are launched in public-private partnership,'' he said.
