40 PIs promoted; 72 transferred

Ahmedabad, Dec 13 (UNI) In a big reshuffle in the police department, the Gujarat government today transferred 67 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) and five DSPs from the State Reserve Police (SRP).

A total of forty Police Inspectors were promoted to deputy SP rank, of which twenty six were from unarmed group, while 14 were from the SRP.
