Winter special trains introduced on the Konkan railway

Panaji, Dec 12 (UNI) Special winter trains have been introduced on the Konkan railway route to cater to the extra rush of passengers during the winter vacations.

According to a Konkan Railway Corporation release Train No. 109DN CSTM-Karwar special will run daily from December 15 to Janaury 6.

Train No. 110 UP will run ex-Karwar daily from December 16 to January 7. This train will have 17 coaches.

The special trains will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Vilawade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandagaon, Kankavali, Kudal, Sanwatwadi Road, Pernem, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Canacona and Asnoti.

The 109 dn will leave from CSTM at 2355 hours and reach Karwar the next day at 1315 hours, while train No 110 Up will leave from Karwar at 1500 hours and reach CSTM at 0420 hours the next day, the release added.

Dadar(T) Madgaon- Dadar( T) weekly train.

Train NO. 2051-A Dn will run ex- Dadar(T) every Wednesday from December 13 to January 3, 2007 and train No 2052-A will run ex-Madgaon every Thursday from December 14 to January 4.

The train will run on the same timings as of 2051/2052 Janashatabdi Express.

Dadar(T) Ernakulam- Dadar(T) weekly train.

Train No.165Dn will leave Ex-Dadar(T) every Wednesday from December 20 to January 10 and Train no.166 UP will leave ex- Ernakulam every Thursday from December 21 to January 11. The train will have 16 coaches.
