Two women arrested for possessing heroin

Shillong, Dec 12 (UNI) Meghalaya police have arrested two drug peddlers and seized 17 grams of heroin from their possession.

Police said the arrested persons Chunai Kante and Membai Kante, both from Manipur were nabbed from a city hotel.

Police said the duo were being booked under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Amendment) Act, 1988.
