Two Pune youth die due to asphyxiation

Bijapur, Dec 12 (UNI) Two youth, belonging to Maharashtra, were killed reportedly due to asphyxiation, after they went to repair a clogged man hole in the city today.

Golgumbaz police said that the duo, Kumar and Ravindra, both 20 years old and belonging to Pune, entered the gutter for cleaning when the mishap occurred.

Another report said the two workers died allegedly due to electrocution inside the man hole.

The cause of the death would become clear only after the post mortem was conducted. They were hired by a private concern from Sholapur, which had taken up the work, police added.
