Spanish police arrest Islamists in Ceuta
CEUTA, Spain, Dec 12: Spanish police have arrested a significant number of suspects linked to Islamic terror groups in a raid on a poor neighbourhood in Spain's North African enclave Ceuta, the government said today.
About 50 police vehicles carrying armed police entered the El Principe neighbourhood in a raid starting at 0400 hrs the official said, asking not to be named.
No more details about the operation or what exactly the suspects were wanted for were immediately available.
