Smack worth Rs 10 crore seized

Jaipur, Dec 12 (UNI) The police seized 10 kg smack and arrested three drug smugglers in Baran district of Rajasthan today.

The seized smack is worth Rs 10 crore in the international market.

According to S N Khinchi, additional SP, Baran, these smugglers have been identified as Shankar Meena from Dahikheda, Sarfaraz from Iklera and Suresh Khati. Meena was caught with three kg of smack, while Sarfaraz and Suresh had three-and-a-half kg each on them.

Mr Khinchi said these people were apparently bringing the drug from Madhya Pradesh and were arrested by the police team at Kalpa Jagir ki Ghati under Chippabarot police station in Baran district.

One Umaid Singh is said to be their supplier and the police are on the look out for him. The smack is worth Rs 10 crore in the international market, said Mr Khinchi.
