Shivanand gets plum post in JD(U)

Patna, Dec 12(UNI) Former Bihar Minister Shivanand Tiwari was today appointed the General secretary and Spokesman of the JD(U).

Party President Sharad Yadav in a release said here that besides Mr Tiwari, JD(U) leader Shambhusharan Srivastav will continue as a Spokesman and General secretary in-charge of the central office of the party.

Mr Tiwari, who happens to be a close aide of RJD Chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, had joined JD(U) last month after leaving the RJD.
