Seven killed in Kashmir road mishap

Srinagar, Dec 12 (UNI) Seven people were killed when a vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge on the Srinagar- Jammu national highway this morning.

A traffic police official told UNI that a Tata Sumo on way to Srinagar skidded off the road at landslide prone Penthal and fell into a deep gorge.

He said all the seven people travelling in the vehicle died.

Rescue teams have been rushed to recover the bodies, he said.
