7 killed as bus rams into two jeeps

Jaipur, Dec 12: At least seven people were killed and as many injured when a Roadways bus collided with two jeeps in Sirohi district of Rajasthan today.

According to police, the accident occurred near Luniyapura mosque in Abu Road at around 0600 hrs when an oncoming Rajasthan Roadways bus, traveling towards Abu Road, collided with two jeeps. The jeeps were on their way from Abu Road to Revdar.

Six people, including the drivers of the two jeeps, died on the spot. A seventh person died on the way to hospital. Seven injured people have been referred to a hospital in Palampur. Five of them are in serious condition.
