Rajesh Choudhary sails to bronze in Doha

Doha, Dec 12 (UNI) It was a smooth sailing for Armyman Rajesh Choudhary who bagged the Bronze in the Laser Radial Open event with 33 net penalty points in the 15th Asian Games here today.

Choudhary finished fourth in the final of the 12-race competition and stood overall third, behind Lijia Xu of China and Singaporean Seng Leong Koh.

The Indian, in fact, was tied with Leong with equal net penalty points but the Singaporean clinched the issue by virtue of top three finishes in the race.

This was Choudhary's second successive Asian Games Bronze in the event.
