ONGC organises medical camp

Agartala, Dec 12 (UNI) The ONGC, Tripura Assets, has organised a medical camp at Preavapur Gaon panchayat in Tripura's West District on Sunday where about 600 villagers availed the free medical treatment.

Dr D R Sharma, In-charge, ONGC medical department here informed that the health related issues in rural areas of the state in view of geographical remoteness and poverty make it necessary for sharing responsibility in this field.

The Public Sector unit was also extending helping hand to state from time to time by organising free medical camps and distributing free medicines to the rural people.
