NCDEX records trade worth Rs 2,491 crore

Mumbai, Dec 12 (UNI) As many as 2,823 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 2,491 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 82,390 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, pepper, chilli, soybean and refined soy oil, a NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 280 members had participated in trading and put through more than 92,130 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 2,972 crore (one way).

Active trades were in guarseed, chana, pepper, urad desi, chilli and gold, the release added.
