MRPL secures highest credit rating

New Delhi, Dec 12 (UNI) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical Ltd (MRPL), a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC), has been assigned a Corporate Credit Rating "CCR AAA" by CRISIL indicating highest degree of strength with regard to honoring debt obligations.

MRPL is currently implementing a Refinery Upgrade cum Expansion Project at its Mangalore Refinery at an estimated cost of Rs 7943 crore. The project is scheduled for completion in June 2010.
