Irregularities in child development projects rocks House
Patna, Dec 12 (UNI) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced to hold a meeting with the MLAs on the irregularities in child development projects in Bihar.
The issue was raised today in the state assembly following which the chief minister said he would assess the actual condition and take suitable action.
Earlier dissatisfied with the reply of State Welfare Minister Rameshwar Paswan, the members of the Lower House pointed out the irregularities in the related projects in their jurisdictions.
The members pointed towards the willful acts and frauds committed by the Child Development Project officers (DCPOs) and irregualrities in Anganbadi too.
Mr Kumar said that he would hold a meeting and asked the members to raise the matter in detail in order to solve it.
Earlier BJP member Bhola Singh even dubbed the CDPOs as ''thick skined'' and ''insensitive officers'' and demanded that the Speaker of the state assmbly or Chief Minister should personally look into it.
