HDFC opens fourth branch in HP

Shimla, Dec 12 (UNI) One of private sector's premier banks, HDFC, today opened its fourth branch in Himachal Pradesh and 540th in the country, an official spokesman today said.

The branch was opened in Civil Lines of Dharamshala town in Kangra district of the state and would provide a vast range of services under one roof, he said.

The spokesman said the bank's 540th branch was inaugurated by Tibetan Government-in-exile's Prime Minister Samdong Rinpoche.

Reiterating the bank's commitment to provide best services to its customers, he said its focus on customers and technology was helping it in providing anywhere and anytime banking facilities to them.

The spokesman said the bank has more than 1353 ATMs across 228 cities and towns of the country, providing 24 hours and 365 days banking services to its customers a year.
