Gujarat cabinet expansion: Vala to re-inducted

Ahmedabad, Dec 12 (UNI) Veteran BJP Leader and former state Finance Minister Vajubhai Vala will be re-inducted into the Gujarat Council of Ministers tomorrow, an official spokesman said.

The swearing-in will be held at the Raj Bhawan at 1239 hrs, he said.

Mr Vala, who had quit the Finance ministry after he was asked to head the BJP state unit, is likely to get the Finance portfolio again, party sources said.

Vala, who represents Rajkot-2 in the State Assembly, was recently relieved of the party responsibilities after the election of Purushottam Rupala as the state BJP president.
