Efforts being done to malign my image: Raghubar Das

Ranchi, Dec 12 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Finance Minister Raghubar Das today rubbished the claims that he had "illegally" provided assignment to "Man Hurt", an Urban Development department, during his tenure of state Urban Development Minister.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Das alleged that efforts were being made to malign his image by associating his name with "Man Hurt" and it was politically motivated.

Reacting to the reports published in media, Mr Das said the reports published with reference to Assembly's Implementation Committee were politically motivated.

Mr Das said the allegations did not contain reality, adding assignment was given to "Man Hurt" after proper recommendation and approval of the Cabinet.

Mr Das said he had also met the state Assembly speaker and urged him to look into the matter.
