BSF Seizes contraband goods worth Rs 42 lakhs
Agartala, Dec 12 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF), Tripura sector, seized contraband goods worth more than Rs 42 lakh from different parts of Tripura and detained 106 people for cross-border infiltration.
According to BSF sources, the seized goods included narcotics, forest products, sugar and cattle heads while they were being smuggled in South and West districts of the state.
As many as 106 Indian and Bangladeshi nationals were also apprehended during infiltration and exfiltration, sources said and added that a country made muzzle loaded gun was also seized.
