BSF Seized contraband goods for Rs 42 lakhs

Agartala, Dec 12 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF), Tripura sector, seized contraband goods for more than Rs 42 lakhs from different parts of South and West Districts and detained 106 people for cross-border infiltration.

According to BSF sources, the seized goods included narcotics, forest products, sugar and cattle heads while they were being smuggled.

106 Indian and Bangladeshi nationals were also apprehended during infiltration and exfiltration, sources said and added that a country made muzzle loaded gun was also seized.
