Baby recovered in Barrackpore

Barrackpore, Dec 12 (UNI) A new born baby was recovered from a dustbin this morning at Indiranagar of Sodepur area under Khardah police station in North 24 Parganas.

The baby was admitted to a local hospital for postnatal treatment, police said.

As the parents of the baby could not be traced, local couple Sanjay and Tinku Byapari expressed their desire to adopt the girl child, if permitted.

The Byaparis have a son and was willing to adopt the baby as their daughter, police added.
