APSYM-2006 to begin December 14

Kochi, Dec 12 (UNI) The three-day National Symposium on 'Antennas and Propagation (APSYM-2006)' would be conducted by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) from December 14 here.

According to an official release today, the tenth biennial symposium would focus on Global Navigation Satellite Systems, MM Wave Technology and Smart Antennas.

The event would deliberate on antenna research in Europe and the future trends of Microwave Tubes.

Eminent personalities from India and abroad would present their research papers in the event.

The symposium would be inaugurated by ISRO Satellite Centre Deputy Director Dr Surendra Pal, the release added.
