8 robbed vehicles seized, 3 held

Bulandshahr, Dec 12 (UNI) Police today recovered eight robbed vehicles and arrested three vehicle lifters here.

Police said when cops intercepted a suspected person under Narsaina police station area, he tried to escape. The miscreant identified as Zareef, however, was arrested by the police. Besides, eight robbed vehicles were recovered from the spot.

On interrogation, the accused confessed that he alongwith his aides used to rob vehicles in Ghaziabad and Noida. After making fake papers, they used to sell the vehicles.

Acting on Zareef's tip-off, his associates Pintu alias Pankaj and Shahid were nabbed.

Senior Superintendent of Police has announced a reward of Rs 2,500 for the entire police team.
