Two sisters murdered

Sagar, Dec 11: Two girls, both sisters were murdered allegedly by a youth staying in their neighbourhood in Karila area of the town, police said.

Police said the body of 4-year-old Rashmi was recovered from the well near their house on Saturday, while the body of 15-year-old Ramsakhi, who was criminally assaulted, was found in the neighbour's room, which was locked from outside.

The girls' parents Dhoban Rathore and Malti were labourers.

Police apprehend that elder girl was killed after hitting her head with a blunt object, while the younger one might have been pushed into the well.

Police launched a search for the youth, Keshav Dube, who was absconding.
