Two LeT militants arrested in Delhi by police

New Delhi, Dec 11: The city police nabbed two LeT militants from Mahipalpur area of south Delhi last night, police said today.

Special cell of the Delhi police arrested Gulam Ahmed Gani of Baramullah and Mohammad Anees Hazim of Srinagar from near the Mahipalpur crossing close to Delhi airport, police said.

About half kg high grade explosive RDX, detonators and Rs six lakh in cash was recovered from them.

Security at the airport, its surroundings and the capital in general had been beefed up after intelligence report that militants could strike in an attempt to secure the release of Mohammad Afzal Guru, who was convicted in the Parliament attack case.
