Snow likely in Himachal Pradesh

Pune, Dec 11 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at many places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Tamil Nadu.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

They are also likely to occur at coastal and south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Dry weather will prevail over south Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of south-west Rajasthan. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Himachal Pradesh, north Gujarat coast and in some parts of Uttaranchal, Punjab and east Rajasthan.

The temperatures were below normal in some parts of north Madhya Maharashtra, and they were appreciably to markedly above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, southeast Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and in some parts of north Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

The temperatures were above normal in Assam and Meghalaya and in some parts of north Rajasthan, interior Gujarat, Marathwada, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka and south Tamil Nadu, while they were normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy rain had occurred at a few places in Tamil Nadu.

Rain or snow had occurred at most places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and at many places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Very light rain had occurred at isolated places in Punjab.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at a few places in Uttar Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Haryana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and south interior Karnataka.
