Satyam Computers will help customers prepare for Windows Vista
Mumbai, Dec 11 (UNI) Satyam Computers today announced that Microsoft has selected them to participate in the Windows Vista Application Compatibility Factory (ACF), a program designed to help organizations around the world implement Windows Vista, the latest operating system from Microsoft.
Recognizing applications compatibility as a challenge for most enterprises, Microsoft created ACF to help Windows Vista customers assess and re-engineer their existing applications, mitigating the risks inherent in migration, officials explained.
''We already knew how to mitigate risk and manage remediation associated with Windows Vista-well before it was released.
These capabilities, coupled with our strong infrastructure skills and global packaging lab, will enable us to optimize the benefits of Windows Vista customers,'' Satyam's senior vice-president, Mr Nick Sharma said in a statement.
