Rajasthan shivers as temperatures dip
Jaipur, Dec 11 (UNI) The snowfall in the northern states has resulted in a cold spell for Rajasthan, which has witnessed a dip of 2-3 degrees Celsius today.
Jodhpur remained the coldest today, mapping 5.4 degrees Celsius.
The state cpaital experienced a fall of 5 degrees Celsius, recording 6.6 degrees Celsius today.
According to weather department, the western winds and snowfall in the uppper reaches of Himalayas have been the major reasons behind the drop in temperatures.
Pilani recorded 6.3 degrees Celsius, Barmer 6.5, Ganganagar 6, Churu 6.6, Ajmer 8.8, Bikaner 8.6, Jaislamer 9.4, Udaipur 9.2, Rawatbhata 10.8, Jhalawar 12.6 and Kota 13.8 degrees Celsius.
