"PM's statement to appease minorities," Arjun Munda

Ranchi, Dec 11 (UNI) Criticising Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's according priority to the minorities for using resources of the country, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today said people living below poverty line had the primary right over the resources.

Mr Munda said these statements would leave an adverse impact on the policies of the Finance and Planning Commission, alleging that it also smacked of the Congress' old attitude of appeasing the minoities.

Terming such statment as a part of "vote bank policy" of the Congress, he said the BJP was opposed to any priority to anyone on the basis caste and religion.
