Orissa 209 for nine on day one Vs Tamil Nadu

Jamshedpur, Dec 11 (UNI) Orissa were 209 for nine in their first innings against Tamil Nadu on the opening day of the Cooch Behar trohpy (Under-19) semifinals at the Keenan stadium here today.

Batting first, Orissa top order batstmen struggled to score in a wicket which helped the spinners as R.Pandiyaraj and M.Ranganathan bowled superbly to scalp four and three wickets conceding 50 and 45 runs respectively.

Sandip Mulia, who scored 61 with the help of six boundaries, was the highest run getter for Orissa followed by P.R.Sinha (27) and N.
