Man kills two daughters

Betul, MP, (UNI) A man killed his two daughters by throwing them into a pond at Sirajgaon in this district, police said today.

Gulsing Gond was going along with his wife Urmila and daughters, Premika Bai(5), Suryanka(15 months) and Priyanka(3 months), to Sirajgaon, when suddenly he took Suryanka and Priyanka from his wife and threw them in a pond, Bhainsdehi Station House Officer C L Sonkar told UNI.

Gulsing even tried to throw his wife and daughter Premika in the pond but they fled from the scene.

On the basis of Urmila and her father Mogya's complaint, Gulsing was arrested today.

The bodies were fished out and sent for post-mortem.
