LS adjourned for second time on PM's statement

New Delhi, Dec 11: The Lok Sabha was today adjourned for the second time till 1200 hours after opposition members created bedlam, demanding Prime Minister Manmohan Singh apologise for his statement on minorities at the National Development Council (NDC) meeting.

The opposition members shouted slogans of ''Pradhan Mantri, Mafi Mango.'' Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, trying to persuade the members to sit down, assured them that he would give them a chance to raise the issue in the House.

As his pleas fell on deaf ears, Mr Chatterjee adjourned the House till 1200 hours.
