LS adjourned till 1130 hrs over PM's statement

New Delhi, Dec 11: The Lok Sabha was today adjourned till 1130 hours amid noisy scene and heated exchanges between the ruling UPA and opposition NDA members on the issue of Prime Minister's statement on the minorities at the NDC meet on Saturday.

BJP deputy leader in the Lok Sabha Vijay Kumar Malhotra tried to raise the matter in the House even as Speaker Somnath Chatterjee insisted that the issue be taken up during zero hour.

As the situation could not be brought under control, the House was adjorned till 1130 Hours.
