Hexaware selects Fluensee as partner

Mumbai, Dec 11 (UNI) Hexaware Technologies Ltd today announced that the company has selected Fluensee, a RFID-enabled asset management provider, as partner to offer a range of RFID-enabled solutions for its global customers.

Informing the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), it said the company has set up a centre of excellence on RFID, where Fluensee AssetTrack solutions will also be implemented to manage Hexaware's own IT inventory. Upon completion, the company plans to roll out AssetTrack in several of its other locations in India.

In a statement here, Fluensee executive director P K Sridharan said, ''With Fluensee's solution, Hexaware and our customers will benefit from the power of RFID. Hexaware believes that RFID technology would power many key solutions in transportation and supply chain management solutions.'' Fluensee AssetTrack is a proven, cost effective RFID-enabled software solution that allows companies to significantly improve asset visibility, security and utilisation.

AssetTrack can be integrated with existing operational systems to provide more timely, accurate and comprehensive information on the state, condition and location of assets and their utilisation within the business.

AssetTrack can be implemented on a stand-alone basis or easily interfaced to existing systems as required. AssetTrack identifies deviations from expected asset location or condition, triggers exception-based alerts or specific warning notifications, provides full asset life-cycle management, improves asset utilisation and delivers the security and control over enterprise assets that customers demand.
